ABOUT US

The London Salsa Academy was established in October of 2010 in London ON Canada. We are a company that promotes the growth and development of Salsa as well as other forms of Latin dancing.

The owner and founder, Ross Todorovic has been working as a dance instructor / performer for over 20 years. His experience has lead him to work and train in dance studio throughout the world which includes cruiseships, directing dance teams in San Diego California and performing alongside Cirque de Soleil performers in Las Vegas. In 2004 during the shooting of the hit movie 'Take the Lead', Ross worked directly with Antonio Banderas during the film and was cast a Background Dancer for several scenes during the movie.
He along with his wife Milena offer classes every Wednesday evening and private lessons on other evenings.

Since then the academy started, it has gone through various changes and has evolved as a dance company. Due to unforseen events during the covid pandemic, The 'Winds of Change' sent us to move to Chatham ON. We now reside in Chatham and are now starting up classes again. Currently we offer Beginners Salsa class on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

The London Salsa Academy currently operates out of 106 William St. N. in Chatham ON. We have plans to expand our class schedule to offer Bachata and Kizomba soon as well.

We are also the partner company of El Studio Tango, which is the founding dance company Ross started in London back in 2003. As El Studio Tango, we plan to offer Argentine Tango classes Thursday evenings. The London Salsa Academy has a full step syllabus from levels 1 to 5. Once you begin training with us we'll teach you all the fundamental base patterns which will then give you all the knowledge you need to graduate into the higher levels.
